German Mutual Insurance Association offers a variety of property casualty insurance products for people living in Calhoun and surrounding counties. We specialize in catering to the small towns and farm communities in northwest Iowa.

We offer fire and wind insurance protection to dwellings at Actual Cash Value (ACV) or Replacement Cost (RC) as well as insuring the many farm-related buildings and equipment which is so important in our rural setting. In addition to insuring property, we also provide liability coverage through Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company (an AM Best “A” rated company) which is one of the largest farm mutual reinsurance companies in the world.
